Epistle of Yahudah

The General Epistle of Yahudah [Jude]

Chapter 1

Yahudah [Jude], a servant of Yahushua the Messiyah, brother of Yaaqob [James], to those who are called, beloved in Yahwah the Father, and kept for Yahushua the Messiyah [not: Jesus Christ].

Mercy unto you. Peace and love be multiplied.

Beloved, while I was giving all diligence to write to you of our common salvation, I was constrained to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

For there are certain men crept in secretly, even those who were of old written of beforehand unto this condemnation, unrighteous men [Paul and Simon Peter], turning the grace of our Father into lasciviousness, denying our only Sovereign Yahwah, and Master Yahushua the Messiyah.

Now I desire to put you in remembrance, though you know all things once for all, that Yahwah, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.

Gods who did not keep their own principality, but left their proper habitation, He keeps in everlasting bonds under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, having in like manner with these given themselves over to fornication and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.

Yet in like manner these also defile the flesh in their dreamings, set dominion at nought, and rail at dignities.

Michayah the archangel, when contending with the devil when he disputed about the body of Moshe [Moses], dared not bring against him a railing judgment, but said: Yahwah rebuke you.

These rail at whatsoever things they do not know. What they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason, in these things they are destroyed.

Woe unto them! For they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.

These are they who are hidden rocks in your love-feasts when they feast with you, shepherds who feed themselves without fear; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn leaves without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the blackness of darkness is reserved forever.

To these Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying: Behold, Yahwah came with ten thousands of his holy ones,

to execute judgment upon all, to convict all the unrighteous of all their works of unrighteousness which they have unrighteously wrought, and of all the hard things which unrighteous sinners have spoken against Him.

These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their lusts (and their mouth speaks great swelling words), showing respect of persons for the sake of advantage.

But you, beloved, remember the words spoken before by the apostles of our Master Yahushua the Messiyah,

that they said to you: In the last time there will be mockers, walking after their own unrighteous lusts.

These are those who make separations, sensual, not having the Spirit.

But you, beloved, build up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in Yahwah's Spirit.

Keep yourselves in the love of Yahwah, looking for the mercy of our Master Yahushua the Messiyah unto eternal life.

On some have mercy, who are in doubt.

Some save, snatching them out of the fire. On some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Unto Him who is able to guard you from stumbling, and to set you before the presence of His glory without blemish in exceeding joy,

to Yahwah our only Savior, through Yahushua the Messiyah our King, be glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for evermore. Amein.
